Collaborating to share knowledge

Metsä Board’s partnership with Intrograf’s Printing Academy started in 2022. During the past year our experts have been sharing their knowledge in a variety of live and virtual sessions, with topics ranging from benefits of lightweighting and ecological aspects of packaging in the pharmaceutical industry to optimisation techniques and factors that contribute to packaging costs.

“At Metsä Board, we believe that education and knowledge-sharing are essential in today's fast-paced business environment. By collaborating with Intrograf’s Printing Academy, we can connect with our customers on a deeper level, providing them with the necessary tools and information to make informed decisions that align with their own sustainability goals,” says Piotr Orlinski, Technical Service Manager at Metsä Board.

Topical themes draw audiences

The numbers of companies participating in the seminars have increased year on year now being 90 with a total of 2550 participants. “A great development which we plan to exceed further in the near future,” comments Piotr Taracha, President of the Board at Intrograf.

The cooperation between Metsä Board and Intrograf’s Printing Academy exemplifies the importance of industry collaboration in driving progress and advancing knowledge within the field. A sought out topic that is prominently featured in the workshops in sustainability throughout the value chain.

“Our joint conferences always attract large groups of interested recipients from pharma and food sector, which proves that our common trends are very similar with today's market requirements. A great basis for a collaboration,” Agnieszka Betiuk concludes.
