Metsä Board, part of Metsä Group, has been recognised by CDP for its work to engage with suppliers to jointly tackle climate change. Earlier this year Metsä Board scored a CDP Triple A rating across climate, forests and water security. Only eight companies in the world received the best Triple A rating. Metsä Board was the only forest industry company among these highest scoring companies.

CDP’s annual Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) evaluates corporate supply chain engagement on climate issues. The highest-rated companies are celebrated in the Supplier Engagement Rating Leaderboard. The SEA evaluates companies’ responses to the CDP climate questionnaire to assess their performance on governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions, and value chain engagement.
