Video footage and motion graphics are a key part of Metsä Group's visual communication. A set of key principles have been established to ensure consistency in the motion graphic content. Read the Metsä Group Motion Guideline for full details.

Grid-based view

The grid-based structural guidelines of Metsä Group’s motion graphics form the basis for the alignment of graphic elements.

Metsä Group’s typing style uses select weights of the corporate typeface Benton Sans in sentence case in all typographic levels.

Pacing style

Pacing and rhythm are essential to build a composition of footage into a compelling and informative edit, as titles and captions never exist independently without belonging to a larger narrative.

The ease curve for Metsä Group’s motion graphics should be used continuously in all typographic appearances or animations to maintain a smooth and consistent motion throughout the entire edit.

Other formats

The basic type styles and positioning principles adapt to all screen or device formats. The same rules and definitions should be applied to other screen formats as well.
