Appointments in Metsä Board's Technology organisation and in the pre-engineering project of Kaskinen FBB mill

Tero Ojala has been appointed Project Director as of 1 October 2022. He will report to Ari Kiviranta, SVP Technology and moves to Metsä Board from the position of UPM's Project Director. As of October 1, 2022 Ojala will work as Project Director in the pre-engineering project of the Metsä Board Kaskinen folding boxboard mill. In matters related to this project, Ojala will report to Metsä Board’s CEO Mika Joukio.

As of October 1, 2022, Project Director Aki Saarinen will be responsible for the pre-engineering of the paperboard machine and pulping and stock preparation in the pre-engineering project of the Kaskinen folding boxboard mill. In this project, Saarinen will report to Tero Ojala.

Further responsibilities related to the pre-engineering project will be announced later.
