Sustainability reporting

We communicate about our sustainability work comprehensively, transparently and openly. The content of our sustainability reporting reflects Metsä Group's sustainable and profitable growth through our strategic sustainability 2030 objectives.

Sustainability statement is a part of Metsä Group's Annual review. The Sustainability statement complies with the requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 2021 standard.

As of 2024, Metsä Group is bound by the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and its reporting requirements, which have guided the content and structure of the 2023 report.

The progress made in Metsä Group’s strategic 2030 targets is also reported in this Sustainability statement.
