Metsä Group has published its Annual Review for the financial year 1 January–31 December 2025. At the same time, the company released an updated Climate Transition Plan, which outlines Metsä Group’s climate targets and the actions taken to achieve them.

The Annual Review includes the Financial Statements, the Board of Directors’ report, the Sustainability Report, the Auditor’s Report, the Independent Assurance Report on the Sustainability Report, the Corporate Governance Statement, and the Remuneration Report.

The review provides a comprehensive overview of how Metsä Group navigates a turbulent global environment while creating value from Finnish forest owners’ wood. We are developing our strategy with a clear goal: increasing the long-term value of our owner-members’ forest assets. Climate change and geopolitical tensions make this mission more important than ever.

The Climate Transition Plan, a Content Index based on the TCFD and TNFD frameworks, and the Remuneration Report have also been published as separate documents in both Finnish and English. TCFD and TNFD are international frameworks that support companies in reporting climate- and nature-related risks and opportunities.
