Appointments in the Management Teams of Metsä Group's business areas

Kalle Parviainen has been appointed SVP, Metsä Fibre’s sawmill business and member of Metsä Fibre’s Management Team. He will report to Ismo Nousiainen, CEO, Metsä Fibre in this new role. Parviainen has previously worked as CFO at Metsä Wood.

Juha Pilli-Sihvola has been appointed CFO, Metsä Wood and member of the company’s Management Team. He reports to Jaakko Anttila, EVP, Metsä Wood. Pilli-Sihvola has previously worked as CFO at Metsä Tissue.

Terhi Ilvonen has been appointed acting CFO, Metsä Tissue and member of the company’s Management Team. She reports to Esa Kaikkonen, CEO, Metsä Tissue. Ilvonen has previously worked as VP, Group Controlling at Metsä Tissue. The appointment of the CFO will be announced later.

The changes will enter into force on 1 December 2024.
