Katariina Saelan appointed Metsä Group’s SVP, Communications

Katariina Saelan has been appointed Metsä Group's SVP, Communications as of 1 May 2023. She has worked at Metsä Group in various positions since 1997. She moves to her new role from the position of director of Metsä Group communications’ Group identity and marketing team. Saelan is a member of Metsä Group's group service management team and reports to the President and CEO Ilkka Hämälä.

Juha Laine, who has been in charge of Metsä Group's communications since 2015, has as of 1 May 2023 been appointed SVP, Marketing and Communications and a member of the management team of Metsä Forest, who is responsible for Metsä Group's wood sourcing and forest services. In his new role, Laine reports to EVP, Metsä Forest, Juha Jumppanen.
