Metsä Pine Bleached Softwood Kraft Pulp (NBSK) is produced at our bioproduct mills in Äänekoski and Kemi, pulp mills in Joutseno and Rauma, and Metsä Board’s mill in Husum, Sweden. All Metsä Pine pulp is made from high-quality Nordic pine (Pinus silvestris) and spruce (Picea abies) sustainably sourced by Metsä Forest. The wood we use is traceable.
Metsä Pine pulp gives end products the specific qualities our customers need. The Nordic wood’s unique fibre characteristics ensure good strength properties, as well as providing good runnability and excellent dewatering properties in the production process.
