Metsä High Yield branded Bleached Chemi-Thermo Mechanical Pulp (BCTMP) is used to make our High Yield TENSILE, BULK and SUPER BULK products. We produce them at Metsä Board’s pulp mill in Kaskinen, Finland, as part of Metsä Group’s operations.
What gives Metsä High Yield Pulp its excellent high yield, bulk, brightness and paper technical properties is the bleaching process, which has been designed to keep the wood’s natural lignin intact. The BCTMP process does not destroy the lignin in the wood, and this helps retain high yield and bulk.
