Henrik Söderström has been appointed Metsä Fibre’s Senior Vice President, Sawn Timber Business and a member of Metsä Fibre's Management Team as of 1 April 2026. He will report to CEO Ismo Nousiainen. He moves into his new role from his position as SVP, Sales and Marketing at Metsä Wood.
Kalle Parviainen, the current SVP, Sawn Timber Business, has been appointed to a new position within Metsä Group’s finance organization as SVP, Controlling Excellence.

In 2025, our sales totalled EUR 2.6 billion, and we employ about 1,400 people. Metsä Group’s parent company Metsäliitto Cooperative is owned by approximately 90,000 Finnish forest owners. The sales of the whole Metsä Group were EUR 5.8 billion.
