The Rauma sawmill project is moving forward according to the plan and schedule. All the equipment at Rauma sawmill has now been installed.
The final installations in the kiln drying department will be complete by the autumn.
Production test runs are under way at every sawmill department. System testing is also progressing across all process stages. After the completion of testing, user approval will be sought for all devices, and preparations will be made for the sawmill’s start-up.
The world’s most modern sawmill will come online in the autumn of 2022.
