As its main product, our Merikarvia sawmill produces high-quality pine sawn timber for various industries. Our pine sawn timber is an excellent choice for the woodworking industry. It is especially suitable for windows, doors, log houses, the woodworking industry, planed products, high-quality glulam solutions, finger-jointed wood, various baseboards, heat-treated wood and solutions for the packaging industry.

We use Nordic wood, sourced from sustainably managed forests, as raw material for the sawn timber produced in Merikarvia. The wood we use is traceable.

We serve customers around the world, and around 90% of Merikarvia sawmill’s production is exported. Our solid expertise and close cooperation with customers ensure that our sawn timber offers the properties that our customers require. These include appropriate moisture content, weather resistance and aesthetic properties, as well as excellent dimensional stability and stiffness.

Merikarvia sawmill is an important employer in northern Satakunta, both directly and indirectly. We cooperate closely with local players, and every year we support initiatives promoting the wellbeing of children and young people. Our cooperation with educational institutions in the region is active and diverse. Among other things, we offer summer jobs, traineeships and apprenticeship training, and participate in recruitment events organised by local education institutions.
