Johannes Martikka appointed Mill Manager of Metsä Fibre’s Lappeenranta Sawmill

M.Sc. (Tech.) Johannes Martikka has been appointed Mill Manager of Metsä Fibre’s Lappeenranta sawmill as of 1 September 2026. He will transfer to the position from his current role as Production Manager at Metsä Fibre’s Joutseno pulp mill.

In his new role, Martikka will report to Virva Juhola, VP Production, Metsä Fibre’s Sawn Timber Production.

Martikka has nearly 20 years of experience in production and leadership roles at Metsä Fibre’s Joutseno mill. Before assuming his current role as Production Manager, he worked in a variety of positions across production, technical operations and business development.

The current Mill Manager of the Lappeenranta sawmill, Jukka-Matti Keltanen, will leave Metsä Fibre to join another employer in September 2026.
