We are Metsä Fibre

Metsä Fibre is a leading producer of wood-based bioproducts, such as pulp, sawn timber, biochemicals and bioenergy. We produce pulp and bioproducts at four mills and sawn timber products at four sawmills in Finland. 

Our products are known for their high quality, which is based on the unique properties of Nordic wood and the continuous development of our strong competence and operations. We strive to exceed our customers’ expectations by offering sustainably produced raw materials that support their success.

Metsä Fibre is part of the Finnish forest industry group Metsä Group. Metsä Fibre is owned by its parent company Metsäliitto Cooperative, Metsä Board and ITOCHU Corporation.

We use the world’s best renewable raw material: Nordic wood, grown by Finnish forest owners, respecting nature. We use every part of the tree as well as our production side streams for valuable wood-based products.
