Timo Riikonen appointed CFO of Metsä Wood

Timo Riikonen (M.Sc. Econ.) has been appointed CFO and a member of management team of Metsä Wood as of 1 February 2018. He reports to Esa Kaikkonen, EVP of Metsä Wood. He moves to the new role from the position of Director, Corporate controlling, Metsä Wood. Riikonen has worked for Metsä Group in different finance and accounting related positions since 2010.

Juha Pilli-Sihvola (M.Sc. Econ.), who has been CFO of Metsä Wood since July 2017, is appointed CFO of Metsä Tissue Corporation as of 1 February 2018.

Both Metsä Wood and Metsä Tissue are parts of Metsä Group.
