It is important to us that we develop the scheme with the interests of the community at the forefront. As such, in March 2024 we launched a three-week consultation to offer members of the public the opportunity to learn more about our plans. We held a public exhibition on our plans at the RaisE Business Centre in Goole on Thursday 21st March 2024 and welcomed local residents and stakeholders to view our designs and ask any questions. We provided the opportunity to offer feedback and we shall use this feedback to shape our plans as we move forward with our design process.

A second round of public consultation is planned for the summer 2024 to provide an update on how the design of the proposed tissue paper mill has evolved, having taken into consideration public feedback.
