Metsä Wood in association with the North Thames Regional Group of the Institution of Structural Engineers are holding an informative seminar on Engineered Wood Product Design for both structural and civil engineers to learn more about engineered wood product design. Metsä Wood and other timber engineering specialists will focus on timber design to Eurocode 5, connection details and practical design examples.
Specialist speakers attending the event include Andrew Lawrence, Associate Director at Arup, Julian Marcroft from Marcroft Timber Consultancy and Frank Werling, Head of Technical, Engineering and Design at Metsä Wood.
The afternoon seminar takes place on 21st June and will be based at IStructE’s head office in London.
