Metsä Group will pay a bonus of at least one euro per cubic metre for all roundwood sales made in Finland by existing and new owner-members between 1 February and 30 April 2023. A price guarantee will also be given for these timber purchases, which may increase the price of timber retroactively.
The bonus and the price guarantee are available in Finland to both existing owner-members of Metsä Group and forest owners who join Metsä Group as owner-members between 1 February and 30 April 2023 and roundwood sales with the company. Bonuses will also accrue on forest management orders.
During the campaign, owner members will be offered benefits that normally require previous roundwood sales with Metsä Group. Additional benefits are also available retroactively for contract customers.

Now is a good time to sell wood, become an owner member of Metsä Group and participate in creating sustainable growth in Finland," says Juha Jumppanen, EVP at Metsä Group Wood Supply and Forest Services, Metsä Forest.
Metsä Group's investments in Finland will increase the company's wood procurement and increasing volumes will be purchased from owner members. The world's most modern sawmill in Rauma started up last September and a new bioproducts plant in Kemi will start up in the third quarter.
