Metsä Group’s business area Metsä Tissue, including its Greaseproof Papers business, has for the sixth year in a row earned the prestigious recognition of Top Employer. The Top Employer Institute reflects Metsä Tissue’s strong commitment to outstanding HR practices, modern workplaces, and a culture that fosters development, safety, and belonging.

Metsä Tissue achieved top scores in Leadership, People Strategy, Business Strategy, Performance, Diversity & Inclusion, and Purpose & Values – all rated at 100%. Overall, Metsä Tissue and Metsä Greaseproof Papers reached an impressive 90%, well above the industry average of 83.4%, reinforcing the company’s’ position among the world’s leading employers.

The Top Employer certification process compares companies worldwide. Eligible organisations must employ more than 250 people nationally or be part of an international group with over 2,500 employees and maintain formal, forward-looking HR processes. This year, over 2,400 Top Employers were recognised across 125 countries and regions on five continents.
