Timo Riikonen appointed Metsä Tissue’s SVP, Business Development

Timo Riikonen has been appointed Metsä Tissue’s SVP, Business Development and a member of the Management Team as of 1 August 2019. He reports to CEO Esa Kaikkonen. Riikonen’s main responsibility is to support the change process in line with the new strategy and to manage the project office. He joins Metsä Tissue from Metsä Wood where he worked as CFO.

Christoph Zeiler will become Senior Advisor to the company and will also act as Head of Corporate Affairs and administrative Country Manager in Germany. Zeiler reports to the CEO, but as of 1 August 2019 he will no longer be a member of the Management Team.
