The SoundBar system

The SoundBar System is a cost-effective, quick to install, acoustic flooring solution and the only system of its kind to achieve Robust Detail EFT-4. Its modular system offers multiple benefits to the housebuilder and developer, reducing build times, simplifying site logistics and enhancing the overall sales appeal of the finished product.

Outstanding Acoustic Flooring Solutions

Originally designed to be used in timber frame structures, it is now installed more frequently in masonry builds. The floating floor treatment is installed on a Finnjoist (engineered i-beam) floor construction enabling an easier and lighter construction than a beam and block floor with no requirement for cranes/long reach forklifts. Using a self-levelling Gyvlon screed, the SoundBar System significantly improves sound performance whilst retaining a solid floor feel, and is ideal for use with under floor heating systems and any floor finish.

Key Benefits

Part E
In both laboratory and site tests, The SoundBar ® System exceeded the 45dB airborne sound-damping parameter specified in Part E regulations by more than 5dB, delivering not just greater acoustic performance, but also giving you the potential to earn more Eco Points.

Robust Standard Detail
RSD status joins a raft of accreditations for The SoundBar ® System, allowing it to be specified with complete confidence. There is no need for pre-completion testing, thereby avoiding costly delays and associated uncertainties.

Solid concrete feel
Potential customers will love the feel of The SoundBar System floor. It is completely solid with no possibility of movement or squeaking, allowing you to tile, carpet or lay a wooden floor directly on the quality surface finish.

Ideal for timber frame and masonry
In addition to its acoustic performance, the system's modular nature offers multiple benefits to the house builder and developer in reducing build times, simplifying site logistics
