Grilling

Grilling with cooking paper prevents the food from burning and sticking to the grill. No need to scour the grill with a wire brush. Delicate foods and ingredients, such as fish and cheese, will remain intact because of cooking paper's non-stick surface. The paper also prevents flavours from mixing, meaning that you can cook the main course and the dessert on the same grill – all you need to do is change the paper. The food will brown beautifully and have delicious-looking grill marks, even through the paper.

When using a griddle, all you need is SAGA Cooking paper. When using a grate, you can make a grilling tray using cooking paper together with aluminium foil.

  1. Take a piece of foil and cut out a piece of paper that is slightly smaller than the foil.
  2. Place the paper onto the foil and fold the edges of the foil inwards onto the paper.
  3. Grill your food on the tray. The grease and liquid from the food will stay on the tray and will not fall into the grill.
  4. Remove the tray from the grill after use. If there is a lot of grease on the tray, it is a good idea to soak it up with some kitchen towel before removing the tray. Remember to monitor the temperature, and never leave the grill unattended. If the paper catches fire, suffocate the fire by closing the lid of the grill.

You can also use SAGA Cooking paper for sandwich grills. They make grilling effortless and clean, time after time.
