Beef roll

A tasty and light meat dish!

Step 1
Cut the meat into 1 cm slices and tenderize each slice with a mallet.

Step 2
Take 4 sheets of SAGA Cooking Paper and divide the slices of meat evenly on each sheet and spread with mustard, sprinkle with marjoram, salt and black pepper.

Step 3
Finely slice the smoked bacon and pickled cucumbers. Slice the onion and fry in lard.

Step 4
Place a slice of bacon, cucumber and some onion on each slice of meat. Next, roll the slices. After that sprinkle them with flour and make SAGA Roll.

Step 5
Finally, tie the ends of the paper with a cooking string. Fry the rolls in paper on both sides in hot oil. After frying, place the rolls into a pan (without taking out of the paper) adding the beef stock and seasoning. Simmer for about 15 minutes. Take out and unfold the rolls, thicken the sauce with cream and season to taste.

Step 6
Serve with groats or rice.
