Safety during the mill visit

The Äänekoski Kerto LVL mill is an active industrial site. For everyone’s safety, all visitors must follow the safety instructions given at the mill and remain within the designated event area during the visit.

Flat, closed shoes are required for the mill visit. Safety equipment will be provided at the mill.

Dress code

For the mill visit, we recommend business casual clothing and flat, closed shoes. Parts of the visit will take place outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Rain ponchos will be available if needed.

The dress code for the evening programme is smart casual. Savutuvan Apaja is a traditional lakeside restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere.

The evening programme also includes a boat cruise on Lake Päijänne. We recommend bringing a warm layer, as September evenings on the lake can be cool.

Photography and filming will take place during the event. Photos and video material may be used in Metsä Wood’s internal and external communications.

If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please contact us before the event or inform the photographer during the event.
