I started as Communications Manager for financial and external communications at Metsä Group in August 2011. Functional HR processes, guidance and the new work community soon engaged me in.
At Metsä Group, continuous renewal is a driver for learning more making work even more demanding – to manage the general view of our Group and its operational environment in constant motion. A lot is happening in the Group. Group’s core businesses and operation mode are continuously developing which means plenty of communicational nuts to crack. Challenging, yet inspiring!
My co-workers are development and future oriented. Sustainability issues are addressed on a daily basis, in a concrete manner. At the Group, a lot of work is done in regards with the sustainability issues.
I also feel that there is a good understanding of people in different phase of their lives. Flexibility and telework enable balance between work and family life.
I have a master’s degree in political science, and I’ve worked as a journalist, a communications consultant and a communications manager in the ICT and technology sectors.
